This Privacy Policy describes how KeyFlow (the “Plugin”), developed by Edgi (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and discloses information when you download, install, use, or interact with the KeyFlow Plugin for Adobe Photoshop.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your information.
1. Introduction to KeyFlow and Our Commitment to Your Privacy
KeyFlow is a powerful plugin for Adobe Photoshop designed to give users complete control over their keyboard shortcuts, enhancing workflow efficiency regardless of their physical keyboard layout (e.g., QWERTY, AZERTY, QWERTZ).
We understand that a plugin interacting with your keyboard input raises significant privacy concerns. Our fundamental commitment is that KeyFlow is designed to process key presses for remapping purposes only and DOES NOT record, store, or transmit the actual content you type (e.g., text, passwords, personal data) to us or any third party. Your creative work and personal data remain private on your local machine.
2. Information We Collect
KeyFlow operates on a freemium model, offering a free version with limited key mapping capabilities (up to 6 simple keys and 3 advanced keys with modifiers, totaling 16 mappings) and a paid version that unlocks full functionality. The type of information we collect depends on how you use the Plugin.
2.1 Information Collected Automatically by the Plugin (Usage Data)
When you use the KeyFlow Plugin, certain information may be collected automatically to ensure functionality, improve performance, and understand usage patterns. This “Usage Data” typically includes:

- Adobe Photoshop version.
- Basic hardware information (e.g., CPU architecture).
- Plugin version.
- Unique Plugin Installation ID (a randomly generated identifier, not linked to your personal identity).
- Error and Crash Reports: If the Plugin encounters an error or crashes, anonymized or pseudonymized data related to the crash (e.g., crash logs, error messages, stack traces) may be collected to help us diagnose and fix issues. This data is designed not to identify you personally.
- General Usage Statistics: Aggregated and anonymized data about overall Plugin usage, such as total active users, frequency of use, and popular features.
2.2 Information You Provide (for Licensing/Support)
When you purchase a license for the full version of KeyFlow, request support, or communicate with us, you may provide certain personal information:
- Contact Information: Your name, email address, and potentially your company name. This is primarily collected during the purchase process or when you initiate support inquiries.
- Payment Information: When you purchase a KeyFlow license, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor (e.g., Gumroad). We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details. We receive confirmation of your payment and transaction details (e.g., transaction ID, amount, date) from the payment processor.
- Correspondence: Records of your communications with us, including emails and support tickets.
3. How We Use Your Information

- To Manage Your License: To activate, validate, and manage your paid KeyFlow license.
